Unfortunately accidents do happen. Our team are fully trained to deal with all aspects of your claim, from dealing directly with the insurance company, or simply assisting you along the way. Our aim is to make the claim process as hassle free as possible. Our commitment to care is one of our core values, and with this in mind we don’t just see a repair or a claim, but put you, the owner, first and foremost with everything we do. Below are some frequently asked questions, but if you can’t see what you’re looking for please contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

How long will it take before repairs are started?

Once repairs are authorised, you will be given a book-in date. This allows time for replacement parts to be purchased and minimises the length of time we need your car on site.

Why can delays occur during the repair process?

No two car repairs are exactly the same. Occasionally there can be a delay in parts delivery, additional parts may be identified during the repair process or your insurers may need to inspect your vehicle. In this case repair could be delayed in obtaining supplementary authorisation from your insurers.

How will I know when the repairs are finished?

Our Customer Service staff will give you an approximate completion date, where possible, when the car is booked in. Delivery after repairs will be agreed by phone.

Will my car be driven by your staff?

Yes. For collection and re-delivery, and for certain types of repair - normally involving mechanical procedures - we will road test your car after the repair process, for your safety.

Can I choose when I have my vehicle delivered back to me?

We will provide an indication of morning or afternoon delivery. The courtesy car must be available to us at all times.

Do you guarantee work undertaken to my vehicle?

All paint and body repairs are guaranteed in line with the manufacturer standard.  Please note: service items, such as friction materials, are guaranteed only against faulty manufacture or fitting. 

What if I have a problem during the guarantee period?

How can I Contact Lloyds Autobody?

Both of Lloyds Autobody centres in Liverpool and Manchester are open 6 days a week, 8am-5pm Monday to Friday and close at 12pm on Saturday.

We are also available 24/7, 365 days a year for advice and emergency road side assistance. By calling the numbers listed you will be directed to our out of hours service.

My car was badly vandalised in November 2020, so much so that I thought that it would get written off and I would never get to drive her again! I wanted to personally thank you and all your team for your professional service and fantastic workmanship on my Bentley Bentayga. Your company was recommended to me by Bentley Manchester and I have been so impressed with your quality of customer care and detailed craftsmanship carried out by your engineers. Our car sustained low speed impact to the front wing while park up which we thought was very minor. On assessing the car your engineers reviewed every aspect in great detail and while the estimate shocked us in terms of overall cost it is clear to see from the end result your attention to detailed was necessary and rewarded. Your assistance in obtaining a replacement vehicle of a similar type was beyond that expected from any business and again I would like to thank you for your care and professionalism in helping us though this unfortunate experience.

Just a short message to thank you for the first class service provided by you after the accident I had in my car. From me receiving your call requesting the insurance claim number, you handled everything and gave regular, informative updates right through to delivery of the car which, as you said it would, arrived in pristine condition. When I phoned LV insurance to make the claim, they told me it would cost an extra £200.00 if I was to use Bentley’s preferred repairer, well thanks to you, I can say it’s probably the best £200.00 I’ve spent in a long time. We just wanted to genuinely thank you for your advice, courtesy and especially help with the stone chips. We work with a lot of large blue chip companies in our field and I have to advise your style of customer service is sadly not reflected by the majority of these companies. A genuine thank you! I can see why people such as yourself stay and support a forward thinking and supportive company as Lloyd’s. However all companies are defined by their staff.
